Bokeh Technique Card
Happy snow day to you all! I don't know about you, but it is cold and snowy here! Thankfully my company let us work from home this afternoon since the roads were getting so bad, and I had a chance to make this card after all my emails were taken care of.
I used the technique shown here at the Club Scrap Creates blog, and I had so much fun! You can see it got a little messy, but next time I'll make sure not to get excess ink on my acrylic stamping blocks. Instead of a stamp, I used my electronic die cutting machine to cut out a birthday cake image and used that as a mask. I also inked up the sentiment with three ink colors (yellow, pink, and blue) and got this awesome rainbow effect! Love it! Just remember when mixing ink pads on the same stamp to ink from light to dark.
I think it's a bright and cheery card for a white winter day!
Supplies // Paper: Club Scrap Grafitti: Pink, white and kraft from stash/ Stamps: Club Scrap Tribal: Greeting UM, Neon Doodles / Inks: Club Scrap India Black Ink, Neon Pink, Neon Yellow, Neon Blue / Tools: Copic markers
